We give you permission to pass them on - if they're old, gently worn, damaged or just the wrong size, we're all fortunate to have an extra pair of footwear that we're holding onto just in case. Instead, pass it on. Project Run was set-up to provide everyone with an easy channel to donate these types of footwear to those who need it more. Pass on your your gently used footwear with us, or one of our partners, to keep them out of landfills and help us create opportunities for people in need.

We'll clean them up and pass them on to the proud feet of young South Africans embarking on their adult journey.
Our goal is to keep running alive. We want to empower & let young South African’s realize their own potential through running and other sporting activities. Through this, not only can we nurture talents but find talents & start a greater movement.
At Project Run we are encouraging customers and passers by to drop off less-worn, previously loved sneakers that just need a little love, care and attention to transform them to ‘as good as new’ sneakers for the proud feet of young South Africans embarking on their adult journey.
How it works
Step 1
Drop off your less-worn, previously loved sneakers at any of our branches at the designated drop-off point.
Step 2
The Sneaker Shack will provide a fresh clean to all donated shoes in order to look and feel brand new.
Step 3
The Sneaker Shack passes all cleaned shoes on with the hope that running is kept alive & the youth continue to feel empowered through sport.

Get 15% off any adult or kids performance shoes when you donate a pair of your previously loved running, soccer or rugby footwear. At selected Totalsports - See here.
Since launching this initiative, collectively we've collected over 500 pairs of footwear, donating them to incredible charities and individuals through partners like Temba Bavuma Foundation, Laureus Sports, Special Olympics and the Kolisi Foundation.
